The HOODED palette takes its cues from familiar places: a shaded path, a pale wall in afternoon light, the dark edge of a city street. These are colors that sit comfortably beside one another and leave room for the person wearing them.
Start with a dark anchor
Washed black and charcoal give an outfit a clear foundation. Use one for the larger part of a look, then introduce a lighter shade in a tee, shoes, or another small detail. Charcoal softens the overall contrast; washed black makes it more defined.
Bring in a warm light
Ecru, bone, and sand offer different ways to lighten a combination. Try ecru with forest for a strong but easy contrast. Bone and olive feel quieter together. Sand adds warmth to a deeper green.
